You know that song from Rocky??? The Eye of the Tiger? Well I have it on my iPod and it was playing today while I was on the treadmill. I was feeling kinda blah and tired & thinking that since both monkeys were asleep I should really take a shower or fold the clothes or start dinner........until this song came on and I felt inspired to get movin'! I ran/walked my booty off today! I mean I felt like Sylvester Stallone in that grey sweatsuit running up those stairs.......
This is my treadmill display when I was done. Sure, it's not fabulous. But for me, it's a huge accomplishment because I haven't worked out in forever! I did about 1.5 miles and burned 171 cals! Go Me!!!!! Now I can take a shower!
